Prospect Farm and Cottages are on the edge of East Brent village, midway betwixt Weston super Mare and Burnham on Sea (3 miles from the seaside) in a country setting. We have our own free-range chickens and ducks, a very pretty country garden and 2.5 acres of level grassy field set aside for playing, flying kites, enjoying picnics and barbecues or running in natural freedom with the goats. We designed the Adventure Playground for all ages, and our hands-on pets Bobtail House, Play Caravan and other activities...... egg collecting, bottle feeding....... keep the children busily involved.

Local village shops in Brent Knoll include General Stores and Newsagents and Post Office. The friendly Brent Knoll Inn, just 2 minutes walk, offers good wholesome public house lunches and evening meals. There is an excellent range of restaurants within a three mile radius to cater for every occasion. We have an historic parish church, St Mary's, and the Methodist Chapel.

A bus service runs 6 days a week to Weston super Mare, Burnham on Sea, Cheddar, Wells and Taunton (county town of Somerset), also the famous cities of Bristol and Bath. There are pleasant walks and rambles through and around the village. If one is feeling energetic, a walk up Brent Knoll (legendary Hill of Frogs with Iron Age Fort and Roman Settlement Remains) gives a panoramic vantage point stretching across the famous Somerset Levels to the ancient Monument of Glastonbury Tor.
